Library Services and Policies
policies are availalbe upon request
We cannot check items out to you
without your library card, so please bring your card with you each time
you visit the library. Proof of correct name and address (preferably a
current driver’s license) is required to obtain a card. A parent or
guardian signature is required for children under 16. Initial card is
free. Lost or stolen cards must be replaced immediately. Failure to do
so makes the patron responsible for any items checked out on the card.
Items (except DVDs) may be renewed twice unless someone else has requested the item. Books can be renewed in person, by phone or by Internet. You will need a password to access your account online. Items cannot be renewed online if they are overdue or if patron registration has expired.
There is a book drop located next to the front door of the library. To prevent damage, DVDs and audio books should not be returned in the book drop. Returning DVDs or audios in the book drop will result in a $2.00 fine applied to your account.
Computer generated late notices are sent to patrons as a courtesy. Patrons should exercise individual responsibility in returning library materials in a timely manner. Patrons with overdue items or fines are unable to check out library materials until account is cleared.
Please note there is a 25 item limit on each card.
