Friends of Gunn Memorial Library

Friends of Gunn Memorial Library is composed of a group of citizens who have joined together to focus attention and stimulate public interest in services, facilities, and the needs of Gunn Memorial Public Library.  They also work to raise funds for the library and to encourage  increased usage of the library by the general population.

For more on our “doings,” including times and places of library events and storytime, please visit Bookmarks, our online newsletter at www.yanceyville.net. Bookmarks offers both a children and adults activity calendar, detailed program descriptions, book reviews, recent library acquisitions, and other information.

If you are interested in becoming part of this growing organization, you can find membership information on Bookmarks or drop by the library and pick up a membership form.  Remember:  “A great library needs more than books; it needs Friends.”
