Connect Caswell 2020 is an initiative aimed at providing access to broadband internet and cell coverage to anyone who wants it in Caswell County. Our goal is to begin seeing the infrastructure for that connectivity laid by the year 2020.
We'll try to accomplish this through three goals:
1. Surveys to collect data on current internet access. We can use that data to better take advantage of opportunities to expand access in our county. Please fill out a survey, even if you already have internet. Survey link: https://bit.ly/2EIoY3W.
2. Free reviews for property owners who would like to have a cell phone tower on their property.
3. Policy changes like allowing cell towers to be built closer together and reducing their operating fees.
