Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (Full-Time) **24/72 Schedule**

Emergency Medical Technician – Basic (EMT-B) provides immediate and effective Basic Life Support care to the critically ill or injured. The applicant must be able to perform all duties required of the position of EMT-B including all other duties assigned.


A. Must possess a current North Carolina or National Registry EMT Certification, or be eligible to receive North Carolina reciprocity

B. Must have a current Healthcare Provider CPR certification

C. Must have a valid driver’s license

D. Must have a good driving record

E. Applicants must be able to work 24-hour shifts to include holidays and weekends.

F. Good physical stamina, endurance, and body condition

G. Be able to walk, stand, and carry, also, lift 200 lbs. with an assistant

H. Good work ethic documented through references

I. Teamwork oriented attitude
